O2 Polish community

O2 World Chat is a free application developed by O2, allowing to make international calls from the United Kingdom for as little as 1p a minute. Hassle-free and available on all UK mobile networks, it connects its users with friends and family abroad. 



The main goal was to reach Polish communities in the United Kingdom, raising the awareness about the app and the benefits it offers to immigrants.



We employed an overall promotional strategy that included digital marketing, online and offline advertising, and extensive PR services. We developed new brand resources and adjusted the existing ones to the needs of Polish consumers, providing a thorough translation of the app and its official website, produced the copywriting and localised the World Chat official video, and designed banners and leaflets in terms of both imagery and content. We advertised on Facebook, Youtube and Polish websites, as well as in Polish shops, displaying the ads on in-store TV screens and distributing leaflets. We utilised marketing mailing and door-to-door leafletting, managed promotional stalls, and took responsibility for media buying. Finally, we reached top newspapers to secure publications and sponsored articles, as well as arranged and finalised sponsorship opportunities.



We reached tens of thousands of potential customers, significantly increasing brand awareness among the desired target audience. Our press releases were published in numerous prominent Polish media, such as The Times and many more.
